New Brunswick Weather

New Brunswick's lengthy coastline makes for inconstant weather. Summers are similar to Maine and the Eastern sea board -- cool, sometimes foggy near the coast, with temperatures averaging 54-70 F/12-21 C. Warmer and drier temperatures greet you inland -- 66-79 F/19-26 C and even higher inland along the Saint John River Valley. At nights the temperature tends to drop off, so take a sweater. Winter-like evenings will begin in late October in the interior and north but snow is rare before late November. Spring is generally cool and wet. We recommend visiting New Brunswick from mid May through mid October for fantastic fishing.
